Nashua Man Arrested After Miriam Road Crash
Merrimack Police: Kurt Wilson was allegedly involved in a hit-an-run accident on July 4.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local man was arrested last week after allegedly leaving the scene of a crash without providing information to the owner of property or police, according to a press report. Kurt Wilson, 30, of Long Avenue in Nashua, was arrested on July 16, 2017, a conduct after an accident charge. Wilson was arrested by Hollis Police after Merrimack Police issued a warrant for his arrest, according to Stephen Wallin of the Merrimack Police Department.

On the Fourth of July, officers were sent to Miriam Road for a report of a hit-and-run accident. When they arrived, they investigated the incident and “determined that Smith had struck another vehicle, with his motor vehicle, and left the scene,” Wallin alleged.

“Upon learning this information, there was a warrant and affidavit issued for Wilson’s arrest for conduct after an accident,” he noted.
Wilson was arrested by Hollis Police and picked up by Merrimack Police at just before 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. He processed and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. Wilson is due in court on Aug. 3.

Previously, according to reports online, Merrimack Police arrested Wilson back in January 2015, for possession and transportation of marijuana after a motor vehicle stop on Continental Boulevard. In December 2015, according to Nashua Police, he was arrested for theft by unauthorized taking.
