Nashua Man Arrested Again After Allegedly Fleeing Merrimack Crash

Breaking: Reynardo Placencia was arrested for conduct after an accident, resisting, and breach of bail after DW Highway accident today.

MERRIMACK, NH — A Nashua man who was arrested earlier this month on robbery, assault, and false imprisonment charges, has been charged again after a crash on the Daniel Webster Highway this morning, according to police. Reynardo Dejesus Rodriguez Placencia, 22, of Ash Street in Nashua, was arrested on Nov. 29, 2016, and charged with conduct after an accident, two counts of resisting arrest or detention, and breach of bail.

At just after 10:30 a.m. this morning, officers were sent to the Daniel Webster Highway near Whitney Street for a motor vehicle crash.

The party reporting the accident, according to police, stated that the male operator of the vehicle that allegedly caused the accident had fled the scene, Lt. Denise Roy of the Merrimack Police Department noted in a press statement.

“A search for the male, who was later identified as Reynardo Dejesus Rodriguez Placencia, ensued,” Roy stated. “With the assistance of New Hampshire State Police Canine Unit, and local Sheriff’s deputies, Merrimack Police were able to apprehend the suspect at 11:50 hrs, after an extensive foot chase.”

Placencia was arrested, processed, and held on $20,000 cash bail and will be arraigned tomorrow.

According to a post on Merrimack NH Patch last week, Placencia was arrested on Nov. 19, for robbery, domestic assault, and false imprisonment, after an alleged incident in the food court of the Merrimack Premium Outlet mall. In mid-January, he was arrested in Nashua for criminal mischief, and then, two weeks later, arrested for stalking and default or breach of bail conditions, according to Nashua Police.
