A records check allegedly determined that Cook-Murtagh had a criminal bail order out of Nashua District Court to have no contact with Murtagh and she was arrested for stalking. Murtagh allegedly had a protection order out against him to have no contact with Cook-Murtagh. That order was issued out of Berlin District Court and he was placed under arrest.

Murtagh was held without bail and had a court date on March 21; Cook-Murtagh was released on personal recognizance bail and had a court date on March 22.

Cook-Murtagh, according to reports on Patch, has been arrested a number of times, including in Amherst for shoplifting in January 2012. In Nashua in 2015, she was arrested for allegedly burglarizing a home in August three different times. Cook-Murtagh was indicted recently on the burglary charges, according to the Hillsborough County Superior Court.
