About a month later, as the case continued to be investigated, the victim noted that Brown – a woman who reportedly resided in the residence at the time of the theft incident – was allegedly responsible for the theft, according to a press statement. A warrant was issued for Brown’s arrest and she was formally charged on Friday.
Brown was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Sept. 21.

In April, according to the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune, Brown was arrested for DUI and drug possession in Newton. Brown was also arrested in July 2016, on a burglary charge for allegedly stealing cash and a $7,000 diamond engagement ring from a home on Chapel Lane, according to a post on Patch. Police reportedly discovered that she had panned the ring for $160 in Nashua. Brown was later interviewed at the New Hampshire Women’s Prison in Goffstown – where she was imprisoned on unrelated charges – and later, charged her with burglary. Brown was also arrested in Londonderry in July 2012 for theft/shoplifting after an incident at Market Basket in that community, according to police. She was also wanted on a warrant out of Rockingham County at the time, too.
