NH AG Investigating Officer Involved Shooting in Merrimack
Joppa Road is closed off to traffic while the incident is being investigated.
State officials are at the scene of an officer involved shooting on Joppa Road in Merrimack.
The road, according to reports online, was closed at just before 1 p.m. for a report of a shooting.
The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, the New Hampshire State Police, and the Merrimack Police are all at the scene investigating an officer involved shooting where a man was reportedly shot multiple times. The man was transported to St Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua with critical wounds. The patient was later airlifted to Boston for medical attention.

New Hampshire State Police Major Crimes is handling the investigation. According to sources, only Merrimack Police were involved in the incident with the man.
