Cote was wanted on two outstanding warrants, according to Deputy Marshal Jeffrey White. One was for probation violations based on a prior convention and sentence on a heroin-related offense. The second warrant was issued by Merrimack Police for a larceny offense – the theft of a $14,000 pair earrings at a jewelry store in November.
Cote and two accomplices – Brian Hurton of Manchester and Michael Taliadoros of Derry – were arrested in Burlington, MA, after allegedly robbing jewelry stores in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Two weeks ago, Merrimack Police issued a warrant for Cote for his alleged involvement in the theft.

According to White, before publication of his fugitive status, marshals heard that he might be staying at a residential sober house on Main Street in Wakefield, MA. Marshals contacted Wakefield MA Police for assistance and they responded to the home. Cote was taken in to custody without incident, according to White.
Cote was charged with being a fugitive from justice and is being held in the Middlesex County Jail. After arraignment in Massachusetts, he will be transported to New Hampshire to face charges.
