(unionleader.com) — A proposed 16-story mixed-use tower in downtown Manchester is drawing strong opinions, including opposition from a Merrimack parishioner at Saint Joseph Cathedral who worries the building would block sunlight, worsen winter ice on church steps, and endanger elderly worshippers. City officials and supporters argue the project would bring needed housing, energy, and amenities to Manchester, while critics fear parking, access, and neighborhood impacts.
