State Senators Line Up Behind Ashooh

1st Congressional District Republican adds influential current, former NH Senators to his campaign's legislative leadership coalition.

MANCHESTER, NH — The Ashooh for Congress campaign last week announced the endorsements of several influential and respected New Hampshire state Senators with a long and accomplished history of public service supporting businessman Rich Ashooh.

The Senators endorsing the campaign included Senate President Pro Tem Sharon Carson, R-Londonderry, state Sen. David Boutin, R-Hooksett, former state Sen. Jack Barnes, R-Raymond, State Sen. Jeb Bradley, R-Wolfeboro, state Sen. Gary Daniels, R-Milford, former state Sen. Bob Letourneau, R-Derry, and former state Sen. Jim Rausch, R-Derry.

Bradley, a former Representative to Congress, said, Ashooh had "proven that we can trust and count on him to work for the best interests of New Hampshire's 1st District." As Senate Majority Leader, he added, "I know that Rich is the best candidate to represent us in Congress."

Ashooh thanked the Senators for their support in a press statement.

"It is a tremendous honor to receive the support of such esteemed legislators," he said. "Congressman Bradley and Senator Barnes exemplify the qualities and attributes required to be an effective fighter for the people of New Hampshire — characteristics I will emulate everyday down in Washington."

Former state Sen. Jack Barnes added, "If you're looking for a Congressman who will keep his word, legislate ethically and effectively, and actually get things done in Washington, then Rich Ashooh is your guy.
