Second Teen Arrested After Calvin Klein Store Shoplifting Incident

MERRIMACK, NH — A local woman is scheduled to be in court next week after allegedly attempting to steal items from a store at the Merrimack Premium Outlet Mall, according to police. Jennifer Swenson, 18, of Corn Hill Road in Boscawen, was arrested on July 24, 2017, for willful concealment. According to police, a week before her arrest, officers were sent to the Calvin Klein store for a shoplifting incident.

“Upon arrival, the officer met with the store management who had two females detained,” Mpl. James Sullivan of the Merrimack Police Department noted in a press statement. “After further investigating by the officer, it was revealed that Jennifer Swenson had concealed merchandise and attempted to leave the store without paying for the items.” (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Merrimack NH Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)

Swenson was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 7.

The second teen allegedly involved in an incident at the store – Bailey Bigelow, 18, of Warner – was arrested on July 28.
