Two Arrested on Drug Charges in Nature Preserve Parking Lot

Merrimack Police arrest Jeffrey Stone and Alexis Jensen earlier this week on Amherst Road.

Police arrested two local residents earlier this week on drug charges after reportedly finding them in a parking lot.

Jeffrey Stone, 21, of Merrymeeting Drive in Merrimack, and Alexis Jensen, 24, of Merrimack Street in Manchester, were both arrested on Nov. 2, 2015, for possession of a controlled drug.

Police performing directed patrols of the town parks observed both Stone and Jensen reportedly in the parking lot of the Horse Hill Nature Preserve on Amherst Road. After speaking with them and performing an investigation, they were both arrested for possession of a controlled drug.

Both Stone and Jensen were released on personal recognizance bail and are due in Merrimack District Court on Dec. 10.
