Veterans to Be Honored in Merrimack
Town Council moving forward on Fraser Square proposal.

Money is being raised for a new veterans memorial project along Route 3 and Railroad Avenue in Merrimack.
The town is partnering with the Fraser Square Veterans Committee to construct a tribute to local veterans and their families that “sacrificed so much to ensure the freedoms we enjoy,” according to organizers.
The project will include a fallen soldier memorial surrounded by black granite pedestals to honor all the military branches, the Merchant Marines, and POWs/MIAs.

The organizers have set up a website – frasersquare.org – to educate the public about the project and raise money.
Residents and interested parties can make direct, tax deductible donations, purchase $10 challenge coins, or pavers, which will cost $100 or $300, depending on the number of lines featured on the stones.
