Woman Arrested for OUI on Carter Road

Merrimack Police: Shannon Glavan was unconscious behind the wheel of her car, had a suspended Florida license.

A local woman will be in court later this month on driving charges after an incident on Saturday night.

Shannon Glavan, 32, of Shore Drive in Merrimack, was arrested on Oct. 5, 2015, and charged with operating under the influence of liquor/drugs and operating a motor vehicle after suspension.

At just before 11 p.m., police were sent to Carter Road for a report of an unconscious woman behind the wheel of a stopped car.

When they arrived, the found the vehicle and the driver, Glavan, who was allegedly passed out in the vehicle.

“After a brief investigation Glavan was arrested for O.U.I.L./Drugs,” said Sgt. Ted Dillon. “It was also discovered that her driver’s license is suspended out of the state of Florida.”

Glavan was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Oct. 20.

According to a post on Amherst NH Patch, she was arrested on June 14, 2015, on a driving charge in that town. She was also reportedly arrested in Martin County Florida for forgery/counterfeiting in 2010.
