Woman Assaults Family Member, Smashes Computer Monitors: Cops

Merrimack Police: Michael Jones was arrested earlier this week on charges.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local woman had a court date this morning after being arrested on Monday on charges, according to police. Michael Jones, 39, of Merrimack, was arrested on Oct. 3, 2016, for domestic violence and domestic violence-criminal mischief.

Police were sent to a local apartment complex for a report of a domestic incident at just before midnight on Monday, according to police. When they arrived, they investigated the incident and arrested Jones after learning that she allegedly hit a family member in the household.

“It was also alleged she knocked two computer monitors to the floor causing damage to them both,” according to Lt. Ted Dillon of the Merrimack Police Department.

Jones was processed and released on personal recognizance bail.
