YMCA OF GREATER NASHUA HOSTS DIWALI CELEBRATION

Diwali is the five-day festival of lights, celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs and Jains across the world. The festival, which coincides with the Hindu New Year, celebrates new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness.
The YMCA Diwali celebration held on Friday, November 1, was attended by close to 300 people and was held at the Nashua Branch on Stadium Drive. Food was shared by all. Children and families had the opportunity to try sand art crafts and henna tattoos.
