WARNER, NH - An elderly man is lucky to be alive this afternoon after reportedly falling asleep at the wheel and crashing down a ravine and into a water bog along I-89 North in Warner, according to state troopers.
New Hampshire State Police were sent to the area of Mile Marker 16, near Exit 8, for a motor vehicle crash at just before 2:15 p.m. on May 7, 2016. When they arrived, they fond a Kia Sedona minivan off the side of the Interstate submerged in water.
“Witnesses located and assisted the driver from the vehicle and to a location where EMS personnel treated the driver and he was transported to Concord Hospital to be treated for suspected non-life threatening injuries,” according to Sgt. Ron Taylor of the NHSP.
