• Placement of utility poles in town cemetery prompts complaints in Milford (wmur.com) — Milford officials are working to fix a mistake after four utility poles were installed too close to burial plots in Riverside Cemetery as part of a project to add internet and phone service. A cemetery trustee and others say the poles disrespect family plots, and town leaders now plan to move them and improve online access to grave maps the right way.
   

• Once thought extinct, the Taíno language is finding a new home in Nashua (nhpr.org) — A Milford resident is among locals reconnecting with Taíno heritage through language classes offered by Casa Areyto at the Nashua Public Library. Participants say learning this once-suppressed Caribbean language helps them better understand their roots, identity, and ancestors, and free resources are now available through several New Hampshire public libraries.
