22 Charges For Nashua Man In Woman's Beating: Police
William Washington attacked a woman, held her against her will, threatened to kill her, then fled to Vermont, police said.
NASHUA, NH — A domestic violence suspect charged with 22 crimes in a horrifying attack on a Nashua woman last year was transported back to New Hampshire in police custody after fleeing to Vermont, police announced Wednesday morning. "During that time, the female was grabbed around the neck and strangled by Washington on two occasions," Baxter said in a statement. "Washington restrained the woman and prevented her from leaving the residence for several hours. During the time the woman was held in the residence, Washington struck the woman in the head numerous times, threatened to kill her with a pair of scissors, and obstructed her from calling 911 two different times."
