6 Nashua Residents Face Theft, Drug Charges After Roundup

An organized retail theft investigation by Nashua and Hudson police as well as Lowe's, Home Depot, and Harbor Freight, lead to charges.

NASHUA, NH — Six Nashua residents face charges after being arrested on Wednesday after a months-long investigation into drug and theft crimes in Nashua and Hudson.

Police initiated a search warrant of a Long Avenue home as part of an organized retail crime enterprise theft investigation in the “greater Nashua area,” according to Lt. Joshua Albert, who works in the narcotics intelligence divisions of the Nashua Police Department. The investigation also involved Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Harbor Freight, companies he described as “our corporate partners.”

Albert said, “As a result of the investigation, the following persons were arrested on theft and/or narcotics-related offenses that were discovered as a direct result of the efforts of the above-mentioned organizations.”

A Long Avenue resident, Sylvain Gilbert, 51, was charged with receiving stolen property and organized retail crime enterprise, both felonies.

David Lamoureax, 32, of Mountain View Street in Nashua was charged with possession of a controlled drug with the intent to distribute-methamphetamine-subsequent offense, possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl-heroin-subsequent offense, four counts of theft by unauthorized taking, and organized retail crime enterprise, all felonies. He was also cited for a possession of hashish violation.

Nicholas Cummings, 29, of Ponderosa Avenue in Nashua was charged with theft by unauthorized taking and possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl/heroin, both felonies.

Stacey Slaoui, 45, of Ponderosa Avenue in Nashua was charged with possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl-heroin, a felony, and theft by unauthorized taking.

Ashley Reeves, 29, of Mountain View Street in Nashua was charged with theft by unauthorized taking.

Daronte Branch, 25, of Chase Street in Nashua was charged with possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl-heroin-subsequent offense, a felony.

All six were released on personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned in either Hillsborough County Superior Court south or Nashua District Court at a future date.

“Nashua police anticipate additional arrests as the case is furthered,” Albert said.
