BAE Systems Adding 300 Jobs in Nashua

NASHUA, NH — BAE Systems plans to add up to 300 jobs as it expands it Nashua manufacturing facility.

City officials this week approved the defense contractor's plans to grow its Spit Brook Road manufacturing plant.

"We are looking to invest," BAE representative Kim Cadorette told the Planning and Economic Development Committee. "We will be providing close to 200 to 300 manufacturing jobs ... which I would think would translate into local revitalization whether it’s on that property or whether it’s with local businesses."

The jobs will be full-time positions, Cadorette said.

Alderman Brian McCarthy said the expansion is a "perfect fit."
