Another Heroin Arrest in Nashua
Nashua police recently made another heroin arrest; Angel Sostre allegedly tried to destroy a needle during a traffic stop.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police recently made another heroin arrest, charging a city man with trying to destroy a heroin-filled needle during a traffic stop.
Angel Sostre, 52, of Eighth Street, was arrested Sunday afternoon.
Police said he was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over. Officers said he had the needle and tried to break it apart before they found it.

He was charged with heroin possession and falsifying evidence.
Sostre was held on $7,500 bail pending an arraignment.

Heroin abuse was recently declared a public health crisis by Gov. Maggie Hassan. In January she signed legislation to combat the problem.
The Nashua Board of Education officials last month approved stocking schools with Narcan, the heroin overdose antidote.
