Boston Man, In Jail In Plymouth, Arrested On Nashua Theft Charges
Shane Beals of Dorchester was extradited from a Massachusetts jail after being accused of stealing and pawning items from a Nashua home.

NASHUA, NH — A Boston man, found housed in a Massachusetts correctional facility, was arrested by Nashua police on theft and stolen property charges Tuesday. In January 2019, police investigated a report of more than $1,500 worth of stolen items from a Nashua home. As detectives furthered the case, they learned that Shane Beals, 43, of Centre Street in Dorchester, Massachusetts, "had recently been at the residence performing construction work," according to Lt. Daniel Mederos of the department's Criminal Investigation Division.
"Further investigation revealed Beals pawned a number of the stolen items at two local pawn shops/secondhand dealers," Mederos said.
Detectives applied for and were granted an arrest warrant on a single felony receiving stolen property charge. Later, two theft by deception charges and another receiving stolen property charge were added.
