Boys & Girls Club of Nashua Youth Get New Shoes for School
Fidelity associates shopped with youth during the annual Kicks for Kids event at Alec's Shoes

Kicks for Kids, Fidelity Investments’ signature event with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua (BGCN), provides youth with new shoes for the start of the school year each August. Last month, Fidelity associates shopped with more than 130 youth at Alec’s Shoes in Nashua and helped them adhere to a budget to teach financial literacy skills. Since 2015, Fidelity has helped more than 1,400 kids purchase a new pair of shoes for the first day of school, helping to build their confidence for the new school year.
Fidelity is invested in enabling access to financial wellness and economic opportunity in the areas where its associates live, work and serve. The team works closely with nonprofits, like BGCN, to identify needs and ways associates can add value through hands on or skills-based volunteerism to help them achieve their mission. A community hub for more than 50 years, the BGCN works with partners to bridge gaps in access to learning, mental health counseling, athletics, and mentorship for young people, ages six weeks to 18-years-old.
