Burglar Caught in the Act After Hours
He hid in the store until it closed, then tripped the alarm after drinking some beer, police said.

James E. Labombard, 36, of 23 Temple Street, Nashua, was arrested May 27 er police said he hid inside a local convenience store until after hours, then tripped the alarm.
Labombard is charged with burglary, a class B felony; resisting arrest or detention, a class A misdemeanor; and simple assault to a police officer, a class A misdemeanor.
On May 27 at 4:32 a.m., patrol officers working in a downtown neighborhood heard an audible alarm. It was determined the alarm was coming from a local convenience store. Officers looked in through the store front and observed Labombard within. Officers made entry and took custody of Labombard. During the arrest, Labombard disregarded police commands, physically resisted and at one point grabbed and twisted an officer’s wrist. It was determined that Labombard had hid inside the business until after closing. While in the store, it is alleged Labombard drank a quantity of stolen beer, stole cigarettes and other items before activating the security alarm.

A class B felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Each count of a class A misdemeanor is punishable to up to a year in jail, exclusive of fines. He is being held on $25,000 cash or surety, pending an arraignment at the 9th Circuit-District Division-Nashua Court.
