A legacy letter (also called an “ethical will”) is a written document that allows you to share your life lessons, express your values, and transmit your blessings to future generations. Writing one is a rewarding experience that creates an enduring gift for family, friends, and loved ones.
This introductory workshop includes discussion and brief writing exercises to help you examine your life history, explore your values, and capture important insights. It offers advice, encouragement, and a model structure to help you draft and complete your own legacy letter.

The Fort William and Mary raids of 1774 were a singular event at the beginning of the American Revolution.This presentation will look at the history of the “Castle” and the defense of Portsmouth. The buildup of the raids will be explored. The conduct of the raids will be explored in detail, dispelling myths, and recognizing the amazing feats of common citizens. Finally, we will recognize the civil and military impacts.
Presenter, Doug Wood is a New Hampshire native with New England ties dating back to 1620. One of Doug’s ancestors removed powder during the first Fort William and Mary raid. He is the Past President of the New Hampshire Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) and Past Vice President General for the New England Region, National Society (SAR).Free Admission
