Caught on Film: Charged in October Burglary
Alleged convenience store burglar ID'd from surveillance video.

On May 25, 2012 at approximately 5:37 p.m., detectives assigned to the Nashua Police Department Burglary Unit arrested Shane Farnsworth, 24, of 51A Bridge Street, Nashua, charging him with burglary, a class B felony; and theft by unauthorized taking, a class A felony, in connection with an Oct. 2011 incident.
On October 22, 2011, police responded to a local convenience store for the report of a burglary that occurred during the early morning hours. Surveillance video captured footage of a male suspect within the store, stealing assorted items from within. Detectives assigned to the Burglary Unit were able to positively identify the suspect as Shane Farnsworth.
As a result, a warrant was obtained for the arrest of Farnsworth, charging him with burglary, abclass B felony. In addition, Farnsworth was also charged with theft by unauthorized taking, class A felony, due to the value of the property stolen to be in excess of $1,500.

A class A felony is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. A class B felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Farnsworth is being held on a $35,000 or surety bail, pending arraignment on May 29, 2012 at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court.
