Chris P. Bacon Honored on National Pig Day

Disabled pig who helped put a Nashua wheelchair company on the national map among top pig honorees.

We noticed this item on the Huffington Post today, which included a very familiar pig, Chris P. Bacon.

You met , here on Nashua Patch, during he meteoric rise to fame after his YouTube video went viral, after his owner connected with Nashua's handicappedpets.com, which makes small wheelchairs for dogs – and now pigs.

Today, on National Pig Day, Chris P. takes his place next to other esteemed factual and fictional pigs in history including Hamm from "Toy Story," Babe from the movie by the same name, Piglet from the Hundred Acre Woods and Miss Piggy, everyone's favorite Muppet pig.
