CONCORD, NH — A capital region woman was arrested on felony charges after an investigation into money stolen from an elderly woman's bank account last year, according to police. In late January, a Hudson police officer began an investigation into a fraud case after a disabled elderly woman reported someone had accessed her bank accounts without permission during an eight-month period in 2019. The woman accused a home health care worker — Katherine Price, 29, of Concord — of being a suspect in the case.

After a six-week investigation, the officer issued an arrest warrant against Price for financial exploitation of an elderly or disabled adult, fraudulent use of a credit card, and forgery, all felonies, due to each charge exceeding $1,500 and the forgery involving a check, according to police. She was arrested by New Hampshire State Police in Concord on March 7 and taken to Hudson to be processed. Price was released on $140 cash bail and is due in Hillsborough County Superior Court South in March 19.

Price, according to a previous post on Patch, is no stranger to police or superior court. She was arrested in December 2017 during a Granite Shield operation in Nashua on a heroin possession charge.
