According to police, officers were sent to the Hawthorn Suite Hotel on Daniel Webster Highway at around 12:30 a.m. for a report of a large party and later, a fight in the parking lot. New Hampshire State Police troopers also responded to assist, according to police.
When everyone arrived, they couldn’t locate a fight anywhere in the parking lot or at the hotel. But their investigation led them to a room where they located Garvin and Vitali, according to an arrest report.

“In the room officers saw a large amount of alcoholic beverages,” according to Lt. Dean KillKelley of the Merrimack Police Department. “Both Vitali and Garvin were taken into custody for being in possession of alcohol.”
While dealing with Vitali and Garvin, two 16-year-old boys were dropped off at the hotel and after seeing police, reportedly decided to leave. They were spoken to, taken in to protective custody, and released to their parents, according to KillKelley.
Vitali and Garvin were released on $750 personal recognizance bail and are due in court on March 17.
