Cousins Face Drug Charges In Hudson Arrest

A vehicle stop in December 2019 leads to drug charges against Kyle Barka of Nashua and his cousin, Nathan Barka of Londonderry.

HUDSON, NH — A arrest made last year led to drug charges against two people this week. On Dec. 27, 2019, a Hudson police officer stopped a vehicle on Central Street near Hudson Park Drive. The driver of the motor vehicle was identified as Kyle Barka, 27, of Nashua. After a short investigation, Kyle Barka was charged for driving with a suspended license with prior convictions, driving while suspended for DWI and driving without providing proof of insurance.

Kyle Barka was released on PR bail. Kyle Barka’s motor vehicle was seized pending a search warrant. Subsequently, a search warrant was granted and executed on Kyle Barka's motor vehicle, which resulted in an arrest warrant issued for felony possession of controlled drugs.

On Feb. 10, 2020, Kyle Barka was arrested on the warrant and is due in Hillsborough County Superior Court South in Nashua on Feb. 20. Kyle Barka also had an outstanding Nashua Police Department arrest warrant for theft, and he was released into their custody.

As a result of the investigation, another arrest warrant was issued against Nathan Barka, 38, of Londonderry, on two felony counts possession of a controlled drug-subsequent charges. Nathan Barka is the cousin of Kyle Barka, according to police.

Nathan Barka was arrested on the warrant Feb. 14. He was released on $250 cash bail until his court date Feb. 27 at the Hillsborough County Superior Court South in Nashua.
