Destination Imagination Regional Results

Nashua High School North will advance to the finals.

Students representing their schools gathered in Kingston, East Kingston and Swanzey March 17 for the Regional Creativity Competitions Destination ImagiNation team competitions. 

Nashua High School South team members Dan "Saxophone" Alfred, Sunny "Bass Clarinet" Shroff, Sagar "Trumpet" Patel, Aaron "Guitars" Hutchins and Chrstine "Kazoo" Yu will go on to the State Finals at Winnicunnet High School in Hampton on March 31 after taking first place in their category in Kingston (click link for full results.)

And congratuations to Nashua's Bicentennial Elementary School team, which will placed first in their category at East Swanzey competition (click link for full results).

“DI” is the world’s largest creative problem solving organization for student teams from kindergarten through college.  The New Hampshire teams will join more than 100,000 students from more than 30 countries competing in judged challenges that incorporate core school subjects with a focus that is technical, scientific, arts-based, improvisational, structural or social-learning. What makes DI unique is that all solutions, including all ideas and construction must be done SOLEY by the team members, and not adults or friends.

Top finishing teams on March 31 will advance to Destination ImagiNation Global Finals to compete with teams from all 50 states and around the globe.
