Dinner with Dickens: Special Performance of "A Christmas Carol"

Join FORTIN GAGE Flowers and Gifts for a special dinner performance of A CHRISTMAS CAROL with British actor, Gerald Dickens, the great-great grandson of Charles Dickens.

Jill Gage, co-owner of FORTIN GAGE said, “Dickens’ performances in Nashua have become an annual holiday tradition for our community.” She added, “This year is especially exciting because Gerald’s performances in Nashua are part of a worldwide celebration during 2012 to commemorate the 200th birthday of his great-great grandfather, Charles Dickens.”

In keeping with the story’s theme of kindness and compassion, FORTIN GAGE will continue their tradition to ensure the performances benefit The Telegraph’s Santa Fund and the Women’s Fund of NH.

Dickens, of Oxford England, depicts 26 characters in A CHRISTMAS CAROL with just a table, wing-back chair, and a hat rack accompanying him on stage. Gage said, “If you want to experience A CHRISTMAS CAROL in the same way that Charles Dickens told his story during the 1800s, then this is a performance that you can’t miss.”

All of the Dickens’ scheduled performances in the US are produced by Byers’ Choice Ltd., makers of the nationally-known Carolers® and Kindles® figurines, located in Chalfont, PA.  FORTIN GAGE in Nashua carries one of the
largest collections of Byers’ Choice collectables across New England.
