He Sold His Neighbor's Car Without Permission

Also charged in an unrelated road rage incident.

Paul Mangiafico, 21, is facing charges in two separate incidents – forgery, for allegedly selling a neighbor's car while that neighbor was away, and simple assault, for an April 9 road rage incident involving a teenager.

Police arrested Mangiafico, of 51.5 Chestnut St., on April 11 at 8:50 a.m., on the forgery charge, a class B felony, after an investigation into allegations by a Chestnut Street neighbor that Mangiafico had sold the neighbor's car.

Police determined that Mangiafico created a bill of sale and sold his neighbor's car, without permission, to an unsuspecting new owner in Massachusetts. According to poilce, Mangiafico forged his neighbor's signature on the bill of sale to complete the transaction.

In an unrelated incident, Mangiafico was reportedly involved in a confrontation with a 15-year-old male who was not known to him in the area of Central Street and Chestnut Street. The confrontation stemmed from a road rage incident on April 9 in which Mangiafico is charged with three counts of simple assault, class A misdemeanor; criminal threatening, a class A misdemeanor; and possession of a controlled drug/marijuana, a class A misdemeanor.

Mangiafico was held on $4,000 cash/surety bail pending his arraignment at the today in Nashua District Court. A misdemeanor class A is punishable up to one year in jail exclusive of fines for each misdemeanor. A felony class B is punishable up to seven years in jail exclusive of fines.
