Hudson Woman Accused Of Passing A Fake $1,600 Check At A Nashua Store In January
Kerry King was arrested on theft by deception and forgery charges after being accused of cashing a fake check at a store on Kinsley Street.

NASHUA, NH — A woman from Hudson was arrested on Wednesday, accused of passing a fake check last month, according to police.
Kerry King, 42, of Hudson, was arrested on felony counts of theft by deception and forgery.
According to Sgt. John Cinelli, the public information officer and communications division supervisor for the Nashua Police Department, police were sent to the Tropical Side Brazilian Store on Kinsley Street for a report of a fake check. The suspect was King, he said.

“King cashed a check for $1,600 that was returned to the store as fake,” Cinelli said.

Detectives were assigned to the case and, based on their investigation, he said, filed a warrant against King on the charges. She was arrested on Feb. 18, released on personal recognizance, and is due in Nashua District Court on March 19.
