Joe Biden 2020? 'I'm Not Running,' He Says In NH
Joe Biden was in New Hampshire Sunday for the 2017 McIntyre-Shaheen 100 Club celebration, fueling speculation of a 2020 presidential bid.
MANCHESTER, NH — Joe Biden returned to New Hampshire Sunday for an important Democratic fundraiser, fueling speculation he could launch a bid against President Trump in 2020. Biden attended the 2017 McIntyre-Shaheen 100 Club celebration in Manchester at the Radisson Hotel Sunday night. The annual New Hampshire Democratic Party fundraiser is often a platform for presidential hopefuls — last year, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders attended.
But Biden shot down that speculation, reportedly telling the crowd, "Guys, I'm not running."
Biden, 74, will be 77 in 2020, but his age had apparently not deterred his plans for another possible run at the White House. After his New Hampshire stop, he will attend a fundraiser for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, speak to the Florida Democratic Party and deliver commencement addresses at Harvard University, Colby College and Morgan State University, according to Politico.

"It’s the kind of schedule that would fit with a candidate in the early stages of a White House run, but advisers say that at this point his activities are guided only by keeping his commitment to staying involved and helping rebuild the Democratic Party," Politico's Edward-Isaac Dovere wrote.
In Manchester Sunday, Biden addressed the issue.

"When I got asked to speak, I knew it was going to cause speculation," he said, according to the Associated Press. He continued, "Guys, I'm not running." The crowd booed, the AP reported.
Biden then spoke about unity.
"I know it seems like we're hopelessly divided," he said, according to the AP. "I know it feels like we're hopelessly stuck in a political death match and we can't figure out how to get out of it ... But we are better than that. I've always believed that we're strongest when we act as one America."
Last month, Biden attended the SWSX Conference in Texas.
