Lucky Players Break Two of The Nash Casino’s Jackpot Records in One Day
The Nash surpasses $32 million in jackpot awards since opening

Nashua, NH – The Nash Casino, New Hampshire’s largest charitable gaming venue, awarded over $350,000 in jackpot winnings on Valentine’s Day, including what is believed to be the state’s largest progressive jackpot – $233,490.95 – to Lowell, Massachusetts resident and Pai Gow player Anthony Hom, who triggered the jackpot by drawing a natural seven card straight flush. Two additional jackpots, including a $71,964.50 progressive blackjack jackpot and an $84,950 historical horse racing (HHR) machine jackpot, were also awarded on Valentine’s Day. The latter jackpot is believed to be the largest HHR machine jackpot in state history.
“There is a reason The Nash is recognized as the ‘Luckiest Casino’ in New England,” said Eric Althaus, General Manager of The Nash Casino. “Triggering a single jackpot is a rare enough occurrence, let alone two, record-breaking jackpots in the same day. The Nash is proud to provide a gaming experience that delivers unforgettable moments and exciting opportunities to win.”
Since opening nearly a year ago, The Nash has awarded $29 million in combined HHR machine and video lottery terminal (VLT) winnings and $3 million in progressive jackpot winnings. The Valentine’s Day Pai Gow jackpot shatters the venue’s previous record-breaking progressive payout of $155,220, awarded in April 2025.

Many of the Table Games at The Nash Casino, including Pai Gow, offer a $5 progressive bet that is linked to over 20 other tables that contribute to the overall prize pool. The progressive system, called Bonus Spin Xtreme (BSX), grants players a chance to spin a prize wheel whenever a trigger event for that game is activated. For Pai Gow, players must draw a natural seven card straight flush for a chance to spin the wheel. For blackjack and Spanish 21, a player is granted a chance to spin the wheel whenever a dealer’s first two cards equal 16. Prizes range from $25 to the “Triple Diamond” jackpot, which dispenses the entire shared progressive pool to the player who spun the wheel. Since that pool regularly consists of 20 tables or more, the prize money can grow significantly.
In addition to Pai Gow and blackjack, games like poker and roulette are part of the BSX system but are triggered by different in-game events. Progressive games are ongoing daily at The Nash.
