Nashua Man Accused Of Mugging

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested in connection with the attack and robbery of a person walking near Elm Street and Pleasant Street two weeks ago. Jason Beaulieu was charged with felony unarmed robbery and felony cocaine possession.

Nashua police said the victim was attacked from behind, assaulted and robbed Sept. 24 at about 11:40 p.m. Police issued a warrant for Beaulieu's arrest and said officers found cocaine on him when they took him into custody.

Both charges are Class B felonies punishable by up to seven years in prison. Beaulieu was scheduled to be arraigned at Hillsborough County Superior Court-South Oct. 24.
