Man Charged With Possession, Intent to Sell Oxy

Ryan Haggarty was arrested after stopped for driving the wrong way down Cedar Street.

Ryan D. Haggerty, 26, of 45 Orange St., Apt. B, Nashua, was arrested June 13 for Possession of a Controlled Drug, Oxycodone Hydrochloride, with intent to distribute, a felony along with other felony level charges, and one misdemeanor level charge.

At approximately 5 p.m. Haggerty was stopped while operating his motor vehicle the wrong way on Cedar Street by members of the Uniform Filed Operations Bureau. During the course of the stop Haggerty was found to be in possession of Oxycodone Hydrochloride and was subsequently arrested. 

The investigation was furthered by the Nashua Police Narcotics Intelligence Division and Haggerty was subsequently charged with: two counts of possession of a controlled Drug, oxycodone hydrochloride with intent to distribute; possession of a controlled drug, oxycodone hydrochloride; possession of a controlled drug, suboxone; possession of a controlled drug, oxycontin; possession of a controlled drug clonazepam; and possession of a controlled drug lorazepam, all felonies.

He was also charged with misdemeanor Possession of a controlled drug: naproxe. The felonies are punishable by a term of imprisonment in New Hampshire State Prison, exclusive of fines. The misdemeanor is punishable by Imprisonment in the House of Correction, exclusive of fines.

Haggerty is being held on $50,000 cash bail and was subsequently transferred to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections, Valley Street Jail, pending his arraignment at 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court scheduled for June 14, 2012.
