Massachusetts Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting NH Caregiver
Bruno Meoli of Peabody was arrested Friday and is accused of attempting to rape an in-home caregiver of a family member in Nashua.

NASHUA, NH — A Massachusetts man is due in superior court later this month to face both felony and misdemeanor sexual assault charges in Nashua. In May, officers were called to a Gate City address to take a report of a possible sexual assault within the past year. The victim stated she was sexual assaulted by Bruno Meoli of Peabody, MA, while working as an in-home caregiver for one of his family members, according to Lt. Robert Page of the special investigations division of the Nashua Police Department.
Detectives "were assigned to further the investigation," Page said, and later, issued a warrant charging him with attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault, a felony charge. As the investigation progressed, more charges – sexual assault and three simple assault counts, all misdemeanors – were forwarded by detectives.
Meoli, 71, was processed and released on personal recognizance bail. He is due in Hillsborough County Superior Court-South on Aug. 22. If convicted, Meoli faces up to 19 years in jail plus fines.
