More Trouble for Nashua Teacher in Grindr Sexting Case

Former Nashua teacher Bruce Lanctot — charged with using Grindr to sext students — was indicted for another alleged crime.

NASHUA, NH — A former Nashua teacher charged with using Grindr to sext naked pictures of himself to students is facing another charge. Bruce Lanctot, 40, was recently indicted on a new charge of falsifying physical evidence. Police said he hid his phone from authorities and deleted evidence.

In May, Lanctot was arrested on a host of crimes after police said he sent nude photos of himself to several students over Grindr, which bills itself is the largest gay social networking application. Police said Lanctot tried to arrange sex with some of the students.

Lanctot was a social studies teacher at Nashua High School South for over 10 years but is no longer employed there.
