Nashua Bank Robbery Suspect Held on $200K Bail

A Nashua bank robbery suspect is being held on high bail after police said he hit St. Mary’s Bank on Spruce Street Monday.
Police said John Labossiere, 44, of 14 Chestnut St., walked into the bank at about 10 a.m., passed a note to a teller demanding cash and saying he had a gun, then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

Labossiere was caught that same day at Motel 6 on Progress Avenue, about 5 miles south of the bank. Police said they found narcotics in his motel room.
Labossiere is currently on parole for a previous conviction, police said. He was arraigned Tuesday on robbery and drug charges and ordered held on $200,000 bail.
