Nashua Burglary Suspect Caught In Chase: Police

Nashua police said John Barbuti burglarized Nashua businesses over the summer.

NASHUA, NH — The suspect in a pair of burglaries at Nashua businesses over the summer was recently arrested in a police chase in Hudson, authorities said. John Barbuti, 30, of Hudson, was charged with felony burglary and felony theft following his arrest in Hudson last week. He was held on $250,000 bail pending an arraignment.

Hudson police said on Thursday, November 2, at about 11 a.m., an officer responded to Quail Run Road for a report of suspicious activity.

"A short time later, Officer (Rob) McNally observed the wanted subject he knew as John Barbuti ... on foot in the woods," Hudson police Lt. Tad Dionne said in a statement. "As Officer McNally was attempting to make contact with the subject, Barbuti had fled on foot through the woods. Officer McNally was able to overtake Barbuti in the area of St. Anthony Drive."

Nashua police Lt. Craig Allard said Barbuti burglarized two South End businesses in June and July. Following his arrest in Hudson, Barbuti was booked by Nashua police.
