Nashua Cocaine Trafficking Suspect Pleads Guilty

Wilfredo Tanon admitted to dealing more than 5 ounces of cocaine worth about $50,000.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua cocaine trafficking suspect this week pleaded guilty to drug charges in federal court in Concord. Wilfredo Tanon, 56, admitted to cocaine possession with intent to distribute.

Nashua police said on July 1, officers found Tanon with more than 5 ounces of cocaine worth about $50,000. Police said they were led to Tanon thanks to a citizen's complaint about drug dealing in an apartment complex.

"Tanon admitted that ... he had been delivering the cocaine to a third party," U.S. Attorney Emily Gray said in a statement. "Two firearms were found in a car belonging to Tanon which was parked in the apartment complex that was the focus of the original police surveillance."
