Nashua Police Seek Tips About Possible Suspect In Burning Vehicles Investigation
The Jan. 22 incident in a lot on West Hollis near Vine Street may have involved a Molotov cocktail. The suspect may have burned his hand.
NASHUA, NH — Police in Nashua are asking for the public’s help identifying a possible suspect in an incident last month that led to three vehicles in a parking lot burning.
Just before 8 p.m. on Jan. 22, police were sent to West Hollis Street near Vine Street for a report of a vehicle fire. During the investigation, Sgt. John Cinelli, the public information officer and communications division supervisor for the Nashua Police Department, said police eyed security footage showing an unidentified man “setting an unoccupied vehicle on fire with a device believed to be a Molotov cocktail.” Setting fire to one vehicle led to two other vehicles being damaged by fire before being extinguished, he added.
“It appeared the suspect male may have sustained burns to one of his hands while setting the car on fire,” Cinelli said.
