Nashua Drug Sweep: 8 Arrested In 'Granite Hammer'

The latest Nashua police Granite Hammer drug sweep netted eight arrests April 6, 2017.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police arrested eight suspects in the latest "Granite Hammer" drug sweep, authorities announced Friday. Suspects were charged with crimes involving crack cocaine and methamphetamine — among other drugs, according to Nashua police Lt. Kevin Rourke. The Granite Hammer program is a collaboration between New Hampshire police agencies and the FBI targeting drug distribution, especially involving heroin.

The latest sweep was conducted Thursday, Rourke said. Five of the suspects are Nashua residents; all are male except for a Hudson woman. These are the suspects:

  • Danny Sun, 29, of Nashua, was charged with three counts of selling crack cocaine and held on $75,000 bail.
  • George Cruz, 28, of Nashua, was charged with selling crack cocaine and held on $75,000 bail.
  • Joshua Carter, 39, of Nashua, was charged with two counts of selling suboxone and held on $50,000 bail.
  • Shawn St. Laurent, 39, of Nashua, was charged with crack cocaine possession, marijuana possession with intent to distribute and falsifying evidence. He was held on $40,000 bail.
  • Samuel Bergholm, 28, of Temple, was charged with methamphetamine possession and held on $20,000 bail.
  • Christopher Mulhare, 27, of Nashua, was charged with suboxone possession and vehicle charges. He was held on $7,500 bail.
  • Katlyn Saucier, 21, of Hudson, was charged with trazadone possession and released on $3,000 bail.
  • Andrew Larose, 25, of Litchfield, was charged with crack cocaine and oxycodone possession. He was released on $10,000 bail.

Nashua police said anyone with information about illegal drug activity should contact the narcotics hotline at 603-594-3597.
