NASHUA, NH — A Gate City man was accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars from his former employer, according to Nashua police.
On Aug. 14, police were sent to BJ’s Wholesale Club on Sexton Avenue for a report of an internal employee theft. Sgt. John Cinelli, the public information officer and communications division supervisor for the Nashua Police Department, said the business accused Russell Dukett, 56, of Nashua, of stealing “more than $41,000 from the business” over “several months.”
Detectives worked the case and, at the end of the investigation, established probable cause to arrest Dukett. He was charged with felony theft by unauthorized taking charge of $1,501-plus. He was released on personal recognizance and is due in Nashua District Court for arraignment on Dec. 18.
