After the crash, a good Samaritan, stopped to assist the driver of the crash – later identified as Calvin, the alleged carjacker.

“Upon doing so, Calvin assaulted the female and then stabbed her,” according to Lt. N.A. Noyes of the NHSP. “Calvin stole the female’s vehicle and fled the scene.”

Calvin allegedly drove south in the second stolen vehicle and crossed over into Massachusetts where state troopers found the vehicle and attempted to stop it, according to Noyes. Calvin allegedly reversed direction and began driving north on the Everett Turnpike back into New Hampshire. Just after Exit 4 in Nashua, he allegedly caused an eight vehicle collision and was ejected from the vehicle. After being ejected, he allegedly fought with officers and troopers as they attempted to take custody of him, according to Noyes.

“Calvin faces multiple charges from both the Nashua and New Hampshire State Police Departments,” Noyes said. “Of the eight vehicles involved in the collision, three individuals were transported to area hospitals for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.”

The Everett Turnpike was closed for about two and half hours with traffic diverted at Exit 4.
