Nashua Man Arrested On Multiple Felony Sexual Assault Charges

NASHUA, NH — A man is facing multiple counts of sexual assault after a 12-week investigation into allegations that he repeatedly raped a woman he knew, according to police. Antonio Luis Nicolao Fuentes, 40, of Nashua, was arrested Tuesday after police began investigating a report filed on Aug. 30, 2019. After that report was filed, according to Lt. Matthew DiFava of the detective's bureau of the Nashua Police Department, detectives began working the case.

"The investigation was furthered by detectives assigned to the Special Investigations Division," DiFava said. "Based upon the results of the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Fuentes and he was charged with three counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, special felonies, along with one count of attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault, a special felony."

Fuentes was held on a preventative detention order and was scheduled to be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court-South Tuesday.
