Nashua Man Arrested on Numerous Stolen Property Charges

Police: Chad Landry allegedly stole a vehicle as well as items from other vehicles.

NASHUA, NH - A local man was arrested earlier this week after allegedly stealing a vehicle and items from a vehicle after an investigation by detectives.

Chad Landry, 32, of Canal Street in Nashua, was arrested on April 18, 2016, on eight counts of receiving stolen property, two of them felonies.

On the date in question, officers conducted an investigation about a stolen motor vehicle in the city. During a routine patrol, officers located the vehicle in a local neighborhood.

According to Lt. Craig Allard of the Nashua Police Department, the criminal investigation division was notified and continued the investigation of the vehicle.

“During this investigation numerous items were recovered that were determined to have been stolen,” Allard noted. “Detectives located multiple individuals throughout Nashua who reported the items had been stolen from their vehicles.”

Landry was identified as a suspect and later, arrested. He was held on $10,000 cash only bail and is being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections in Manchester.

If convicted, he faces up to 36 years in prison and fines.

During the past few years, Landry has been arrested a number of times including twice for allegedly dealing drugs and also assault.
