Nashua Man Charged with 45 Crimes in Disturbing Domestic Violence Case
Police said he attacked a woman with a machete and strangled her.

Nashua police on Wednesday said they arrested a city man in a disturbing domestic violence case.
Anthony Martinez, 22, of 27 Elm St., was charged with 45 crimes. Police said he attacked a woman with a machete, strangled her, and assaulted her on multiple occasions.
The investigation started Friday, when police said the woman called officers and said Martinez broke into her home. She then disclosed that Martinez assaulted her multiple times, police said. The woman was hospitalized for her injuries and released.

Police gathered enough evidence for a warrant and took Martinez into custody. He was held on $500,000 bail pending an arraignment.
