Nashua Man Charged With Attempting To Meet Child For Sex
Nashua police said Daniel Charlonne, 34, traveled to meet a person he believed to be a child to engage in sexual acts.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man has been charged with attempted felonious sexual assault and computer crimes after Nashua police said he attempted to engage in sexual contact with a person he believed to be a child. Daniel Charlonne Jr., 34, was arrested after traveling to a location to meet the person after agreeing to engage in sexual acts.
Nashua police said that in September members of the Computer Forensics Units investigating the sexual exploitation of children on the internet identified Charlonne as a person communicating with a person he believed to be a child. During the course of the investigation, Nashua police said Charlonne agreed to meet the person he believed to be a child for sex. On Wednesday, the Nashua Problem Oriented Policing Unit charged Charlonne with Class B attempted sexual assault and Class B felony certain uses of computer services prohibited.
Each Class B Felony is punishable by up to seven years in prison. Charlonne was released on cash bail and scheduled to be arraigned in the Hillsborough County Superior Court–South on Nov. 21.
